Order Textile Strapping - Textile Strapping Wholesale
Textile strapping generally cannot be processed fully automatically, as the closure is made via a clamping system using metal seals/tensioning buckles. Because of this, the processing speed is relatively slow. However, the safety and stability of the strapping make up for this disadvantage. For many heavier goods, textile strapping must be used because plastic strapping could not hold the weight.
The textile strapping sector includes the following products:All three types consist of extremely tear-resistant polyester fibers, which are processed into the finished product in different ways. Order Hot-Melt Strapping - WG Strap at Sandax
For professional cargo securing, we recommend the polyester filament structure strapping. It is also often referred to as WG strap, hot-melt, kraft strap, or HM strap. The HotMelt strap contains the same fibers as the composite strap, but it is held together by a hot-melt adhesive.
Baling strap is identical to hot-melt strap. However, it is delivered with a smaller roll core diameter (60mm). It is frequently used in the waste disposal industry or by paper processing companies, as well as all users of waste presses or balers. PES Strapping Wholesale - Order Cross-Woven Strap
Woven strapping (often referred to as cross-woven or PES strap) has high tensile strengths and is characterized by flexible and easy handling. The strap also consists of polyester fibers and is often used for bundling firewood, as its woven structure stands up better to sharp-edged packages than hot melt strapping or composite strap. It is therefore predestined for sawmills, firewood trade, or metalworking companies with sharp-edged finished or semi-finished products. For woven strapping, we recommend phosphated seals instead of galvanized seals, as these better prevent the strap from slipping.
Order Composite Strap for Strapping - Sandax Composite Strapping
Composite strap is a textile strapping made of parallel polyester fibers coated with plastic. It is often referred to as composite strap or composit strap. Compared to WG strap, it is relatively stiff and therefore easier and faster to feed under pallets without an extra pallet needle being absolutely necessary.
Composite straps are available in our shop in different widths and strengths. The most common
dimensions are 25mm with a breaking load of 925 daN, 19mm with a breaking load of 625daN, and 16mm with a breaking
load of 550daN.
Advantages of Textile Strapping
The use of textile strapping brings numerous advantages. These straps are characterized by their high tensile strength and flexibility. They can be re-tensioned, which is particularly advantageous for materials like wood that can lose volume during transport. In addition, they offer high resistance to weathering and chemicals, making them ideal for use in various industrial sectors. Textile strapping is also safer to handle compared to steel strapping, as it has no sharp edges that could cause injuries.Another advantage is cost savings. Textile strapping is generally cheaper than its steel counterparts and requires less maintenance and repair. This makes it an economical choice for companies looking to reduce their operating costs.
Processing and Accessories
The processing of textile strapping is done manually, allowing for flexible application. For fastening, metal seals or tensioning buckles are used. It is important to choose the right seals to ensure secure fastening. For woven straps, we recommend phosphated metal seals to prevent slipping. Our seals are specifically designed to ensure maximum holding power and minimize the risk of strap slippage. Our accessories include a range of dispensers specifically designed for different strap types and core dimensions. These facilitate handling and increase efficiency when strapping. Our dispensers are robust and durable, ideal for intensive use in warehouses and production facilities.
Textile Strapping: Applications and Industries
The application of textile strapping is diverse. It is used in the construction industry, in export, for securing pallets, and in many other areas where stability and flexibility are equally required. Textile strapping is particularly popular in the construction industry, as its flexibility allows it to be used even under adverse conditions and it has high resistance to abrasion. In the export sector, it reliably secures sensitive goods and heavy machinery during transport.Textile strapping is also widely used in the wood industry. Wood products often have to be transported over long distances and require secure fastening that is also flexible enough to absorb movement and volume changes. Our textile strapping offers exactly these properties and is therefore the preferred choice for many companies in this industry.
Another area of application is the securing of building materials. In the construction industry, it is crucial that materials arrive safely and undamaged at their destination. Textile strapping offers the necessary strength and flexibility to safely transport building materials such as bricks, concrete blocks, and pipes.
